Falz Becomes First Nigerian Artiste To Win Two AMVCA’s

Nigerian rapper and actor, Falz has made history as the first Nigerian artiste to win two Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA). Falz, whose real name is Folarin Falana is the son of Femi Falana, popular lawyer and human rights activist.

The rapper won his second acting honour on Saturday at the sixth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA), which held in EKO Hotel and Suites, Lagos. The University of Reading-trained lawyer first bagged the award in 2016 for his role in TV drama series, Jenifa’s Diary.

He has now won the second award as the Best Supporting Actor for his role in ‘New Money’.
