Wild World is a folk rock song originally written and recorded by English singer-songwriter Cat Stevens, for his 1970 fourth studio album, Tea for the Tillerman.

However in 1988, Jamaican-English reggae singer Maxi Priest, recorded and released a commercially successful reggae cover of the song.

His version reached the number five (5) position on the UK Singles chart and in the US, peaked at number twenty-five (25) on the Billboard Pop Singles Chart.

Well, it’s safe to say this is the most popular and well-loved cover of the classic hit song.
